1939년 설립자 백남 김연준 선생이 과학기술인력 양성을 위해 설립한 ‘동아공과학원’으로 부터 시작 되었습니다. 1948년 기술건국의 기치 아래 ‘한양공과대학’으로 재출발 하였으며, 1959년 각계각층의 지도자를 양성하기 위한 종합대학 ‘한양대학교’로 승격한 이후 발전을 거듭하여 오늘날 한국의 명문사학으로 자리 잡았습니다.
